Boxed up a tailgate today!

I sold this tailgate to a board member so I figured I'd show some pictures of the packaging. Lets cross our fingers and hope it makes it there as good as it is now

Re: Boxed up a tailgate today!

I was thinking about screwing some handles for them to grab it by but was worried that it might not let them stack or stand the box where they want to??

Re: Boxed up a tailgate today!

Very nice job. After he pulls out the gate he can put a few shelves in there and have a place to show his diecasts.

That is a nice packing job. The die cast idea is cool to. I bet the shipping ant so good though! If they go by weight anyway.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Boxed up a tailgate today!

Reminds me of the story about a guy shipping a garden hose in a box that was an inch square and 50-ft long.......

Nice looking box. I don't know how anyone could conceivably ship it and expect it to arrive in as good a condition unless you did just what you did. Knowing that they ship 'em from Taiwan in cardboard boxes, should let the buyer know how much more you cared that the transaction was an honest effort to provide the best possible care.
