My new 88 Down Under

Hi everyone. Ive just purchased an 88 Pickup Ext Cab Long Bed and have so many questions. I will start slowly.

Is there a site where you can download a free online manual?

On the indicator stem...is the button on the end for cruise control?

Where could I get a new centre console?

Thanks All

Re: My new 88 Down Under

Don't know for sure about the on-line availability of manuals, but I have seen ads for CD-ROM manuals, on the tele.

As for a console, I'd suggest checking www.latemodelrestoration.com and see what they have. They aren't the only on-line purveyor of parts for these trucks, but they have a nice color catalog. Classic Parts of America in the Kansas City, MO area is another possible resource. There are vendors on this site, too.

If you are a Site Supporter ($25/year) you can post "want to buy" ads and also partake of the wealth of info by using the Search function.

Glad to have you on board. Hope the arrangement is long and happy and provides you with the information you want and need.

Yes, but my CC has never worked since I got the truck, so I'm not totally sure what that button does.

Welcome to the board and good luck!
