How bad is this?

So I bought a drop kit from LMC and AFTER I had ripped the front end off I noticed that there was a small nick on the right spendle. I took the pic this morning so it's not the greatest shot. The nick doesn't look too bad, but its the location of it that concerns me. I could send them back, but I figured if I could get away with sanding it down then that would keep me from being out of my truck for 2 weeks. So what do you think? Is it bad enough to send it back?

Re: How bad is this?

Take a file and just knock off the high spot of the nick, don't actually removed any from the main surface area and you'll be fine. Test fit your inner bearing so you know it will slide on without binding up. Something that small will not make a difference.

We were given two ears and one mouth for a reason... listen twice as much and speak half as often...

Re: How bad is this?

That's kind of what I was thinking. I'm going to put it all back this weekend.
