Show me your body lifts!

I'm looking to get a 3 inch body lift for my truck. It's on 33 12.50s.

What did you have to move or relocate? Any chance it will clear 35's later on?

Re: Show me your body lifts!

Front bumper needs relocating to look right. I don't think there is a kit for 73-80 frames though . . . might want to check.

Fan shroud needs some sort of modifying as well as the fuel filler neck.

If you have a manual transmission, you need to lengthen the clutch rod if it is a mechanical linkage. Same with 4 wheel drive if it isn't a 205 transfer case.

Master cylinder brake lines need to be checked to see if they can stretch too. Look over the wiring harness and make sure nothing is being stretched.

Also anything from frame mounting to the body like ground wires, axle vent tubes, etc need to be taken care of.

That's pretty much it.

Re: Show me your body lifts!

when i bought my truck(77 k10) all it had was a 3 inch body and it cleared 35s (on 10 in wide rims) but if i remember right i had to bind the little lip on the front finder because it rubbed a little.
