My "new" iron

I was about to give into the trend and just drop an LS motor into my truck. I was bored with the 350 and wanted something different. I really wanted a 327 but have not been able to find one. I even considered a 292 just to be different because I have seen some pretty cool looking ones and I have heard you can squeeze some horse power out of them. So my friend called me the other day, his screen name on here is duncan and son, and tells me he has what looks to be a good running 396. Well looks like I get to be different and do it with a big block. Best of both worlds. So I guess the plan for now and listen to it run over a period of time and if every thing is on the up and up throw it in my truck. I would then rebuild it when I tore my truck back down. Other wise I will rebuild it now. Here is my first question ,who is running a big block with shorty headers. What I need to know is what car do I need to look up to get the best header fit for my truck?
