Triplus fender patch
Well, I need to patch the front and rear lower sections of the pass side fender. The front looks like it will fit ok, but the rear patch panel seems a bit big. It fits over the existing section..
Im thinking if I cut out the old section, add the new one, its going to be 1/8" or so too long front and back. Any ideas? |

The patch panels are stacked together for transportation, so they do stack over each other. You should only cut out what you need to fix the hole in your fender. However the panel should fit. WES

my experience with the front patch is that it is to big. I think when you get it cut and put into place that it is to long. Do not know about the back one.

Well.. I just welded up the front cup and needless to say..it wasnt a great fit. It was a triplus product. It was short. A little pushing around and I got the front to look decent, the back however is going to need some mud. I will get pics tomorrow.
I skipped the rear patch and welded up the holes where the metal wore thin. The drivers fender rear needs the whole patch, hopefully it will fit better. |

I would try to cut it vertically about 3/4" back behind the lip and stretch to match the wheelwell opening, and then fill the cut , if you know what I mean. I would also make the cut 3-4" long. My .02, Good luck
