Lq4 wire harness

I am in the middle of reworking my harness to put in my 67 c10. I have a 6.0/4l8e setup out of a 99 chev 2wd. I am following instructions from http://www.lt1swap.com/2000harness.htm but am wondering about a couple of wires not mentioned. They are wires coming from connector c2 that go to the neutral safety switch. There is a pink, 2 light greens, and a yellow, as well as a black. Is this plug supposed to be cut off? The alphanumeric group from connector c2 are: e3, a9, and f11

Heres a link to the LS swap forum under engine drivetrains. You will be more likely to get an answer there.

Re: Lq4 wire harness

I don't think you need that part of the harness, its probably for the original truck it came out of to tell the dash indicator what gear the transmission was in. In my swap, I'm not running the neutral position switch harness. The PCM defualts to the "DRIVE 4TH" position without the harness connected. I know many other people don't have it wired up either. Hope that helps.
