Replacement Windows

Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with that expensive
double-pane energy efficient kind, and today, I got a call from the
contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had
been completed a whole year ago and I still hadn't paid for them.
Hellloooo,............just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am
automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast talking sales
guy had told me last year, that in ONE YEAR these windows would
pay for themselves! Helllooooo? It's been a year! I told him.
There was only silence at the other end of the line, so
I finally just hung up. He never called back. I bet he felt like an idiot

Re: Replacement Windows

Now that they paid for themselves you can enjoy having them pay a big chunk of your heating bill.

Re: Replacement Windows

put new double pane insulated, low-E ,argon filled windows in the house a few years back.House was built in the late 40's and had the original wood frames with storm windows. After the new windows, our heating /cooling bill dropped by 1/3! The city even sent out a meter reader back then to check ours thinking we had bypassed it or something. The windows paid for themselves in one year.

Re: Replacement Windows

Well,I'm a contractor and when I do replacement windows I only accept payment from the homeowner. If they want the windows to repay them they can work it out amongst themselves
