Re: tire size info needed

I have 235/70/15's on front and 275/60/15's on back. Used to have 255/60/15's all around.

Front & rear both? Are you trying to match the current height or looking for something different?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Your current combo is roughly 28.8" tall. The 255-60 would come in @ just over 27" tall & a 255-70 would be about 29" tall.

The 255-60 would fit a stock height truck using 8" wheels w/o rubbing the fenders.

Re: tire size info needed

I just did this swap....

As I bought the truck with 15x7's and the original equipment 205/75/15's:

After a 2" drop and replacing the 15x7's with 15x8's and 255/70/15's (which as already noted are virtually the same height as your current 235/75/15's.

The 235/60/15's that you were contemplating are 3" shorter than the 255/70's on my truck.
