1971 C/20 to 1/2 ton conversion

Will a-arms from a 78 suburban fit on a 71 pick up?

Upper A arms yes. upper control arm shafts differ between 1/2&3/4 ton as do the lower ball joints size in the lower a arms. The lowers are different between 1/2&3/4 ton

Re: 1971 C/20 to 1/2 ton conversion

So if I pull the lower 3/4 arms off with the shafts, the 1/2 ton shaft/arm assembly will bolt on. Is that correct?
