Tire Load Rating Question

I am in the process of getting new wheels and tires. I have decided on 16x8s up front and 16x10s in the back. I plan on putting BF Goodrichs all the way round. 295/50s in back with a load rating of 2149lbs and 265/50s in front with a load rating of 1797lbs. My question is is that are the load ratings of these tires high enough for my 70 C20? I wont be hauling or towing anything so thats not an issure. I just dont want to have a problem with premature tire ware cus the weight is too much for them. THanks for the help.

Shouldn't be an issue... your truck weighs in at approx 4500lbs i'm thinkin and with the front weighing about 75% that's ~3350 or so up there and your tires will take 4250.. should be just fine.

Might i ask why such low profile tires on smaller rims? this thing gonna have hydralics and jump? no offense just curious.

My question is what kind of rim you did you get to fit these tires that has 8 lugs?

I actally changed my mind once i found out i could get 15" rims in 8lug versions. The 16" 8ugs were Eagle Alloy 058 series wheels. What size meats do you guys recomend for the 15x10 rears and 15x8s up front. I was thinkin a 295/50 or somthing out back but i think a bigger sidewall would look better. I want the truck to have the biggy/small tire look and have some decient size meats in the back. Thanks
