Where to get wipers that fit?

I badly need some new windshield wipers on my truck. I bought a set from Autozone, and then realized I have these stainless steel(?) arms. I don't want to get rid of that part, all I need are the thin rubber blades that go into the stainless arms.

I don't see them available on the websites of the local auto parts stores. I have no idea if they are stock or not. (probably not) They have "Trico" stamped into them. Any body know where I can get new inserts for these?

Geez, I need to wipe off my dash!

You can set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill,
and I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe de Ville.

I think you are pretty much out of luck, I have not seen replacement blades in years, you have to buy the assembly now. I switched over to the black arms a couplke years back so it matches better.

I found these on RockAuto.com

Find an independent parts store. I carry all sizes of refills here at my store.

If you get fed up with that wiper arm blade mount (i couldn't find a blade that would stay on), 85 ck wiper arms have the good old pin mount. (yes, they are black, but that can be removed with a scotchbrite).

Alex.

Re: Where to get wipers that fit?

Napa has them for about 5 bucks a piece, they also had replacement stainless blades like that. I think they were trico iirc. I'll look and see if I still have the part number around somewhere.

Re: Where to get wipers that fit?

I couldnt find refills for mine, they require very thin refills and the replacements were too wide. Trico does make replacement blade assembly that are stainless but the connecting piece to arm is plastic. I think they call them trico classic or something like that

Re: Where to get wipers that fit?

I bought some at advance auto. They said it wouldn't work and bla boa. I think I had to take the meta strip out of the ones that were on it and trim them to fit. Very simple, and cheap!
