Huge junkyard score.

Hey guys, i'm so pumped. I got possibly the best junkyard find to date. haha. The junkyard owner gave me a call and told me he got an old 1972 chevy motorhome in. The thing was loaded, Tilt, tach, bucket seats that were perfect, AM/FM, shoulder belts, AC, 4 row radiator, perfect grill, doors, bumper, fenders, and a ton of other misc parts.

I feel like I just robbed a train. Haha

Re: Huge junkyard score.

it weighed way too much, motor was blown and the tranny was weak haha. plus the cab itself had a hole cut out for an entrance into the camper.

Let's not turn this into a wtb or inline thread as it'll get it locked.

Great score! If you didn't get the cab I sure hope you got the brackets/bracing underneath the floor for the buckets.

Re: Huge junkyard score.

Nah, that camper was completely trashed haha.. The truck has now gone to the truck heaven in the pile.. :'(

I did find out why the truck was there though.. It was in an estate auction and it didn't sell, so the family scrapped it and split the money. Pretty sad that at some point, this truck was cherished by someone, and it ended up being destroyed.

Re: Huge junkyard score.

That is one fantastic score ! A LOT of nice goodies for a truck build. Is all the loot going into the same truck? I've never even come close to a score like that, LOL.
