The dually ones seem to turn up on local craigslists...I would guess that some of them had campers since new.I found a red 79 on vancouver craigslist...taken off before the truck left the dealer as the camper was installed on the truck when it was new.

Now all you need is the serial number so you can track the rest of the truck down

I got a feeling the rest of the truck isn't as well preserved. Honestly I just dig the pin striping and the clearance lights for my lowered shorty. And I like the larger Chevrolet stamped into the gate.Im giving some serious thought to selling this band...ill post it up in the for sale section when I get that far.

I 've been very pleased with our transactions and would be happy to give you first shot at it. That being said its very easily top 5 I've every seen In picture or person. That includes one NOS and one 100 mile take off. This thing is insane quality. I haven't figured out a price yet but pm if you wanna talk price. Otherwise ill post it on the classifieds once I get it off and inspect it inside and out.

It is insane what these sell for! I was luck enough to have a friend pick up a take off GMC tail gate for me with the narrow band. It is so pretty I just want to hang it on a wall!

Well they don't actually sell for $1250. That one on ebay has been listed a couple times. They are nice and I think the value is in the band itself. I would separate it and list it for sale.

Thats where im at... I wanted a gate with the large letters stamped... I agree 100% the value lies in the band. Thats why I paid too much for this gate knowing id be able to recoup my cost by selling the band.if I knew I could get em off with out hurting them id list the 77 only trim too
