Radiator baffles
When I bought my 64 c10 last fall, there where no side radiator baffles nor a radiator shroud. My local junk yard has a few 64-66's with baffles in place, but they appear to be all 6 cylinder trucks. Are the 6 cylinder baffles the same as the v-8's or are the different. Also, if I buy a reproduction v-8 fan shroud, do i need the baffles to mount the shroud to?

I am baffled by the term" baffles"...perhaps you can post a pic and we can be more helpful....you know a picture is worth a thousand words.

the larger l6 is the same as the v8. you want the ones from a radiator that sits on top the cross member as opposed to one that sits down in the cross member.

Since the subject of baffles has come up, is there someplace to order replacements for the rubber pieces on the smaller I6 baffles? Or any suggestions of something to make them out of?

I got mine from classicparts.com and was very happy with them. The originals were attached to the metal shroud with staples, but I used tiny #6 machine nuts and bolts to reattach them.

Here's the smaller size for the tall/narrow Harrison radiator. The Tall/narrow uses the lower saddle position and the wide/short uses the upper saddle position.

If you look carefully, you can see the saddles in this picture are in the LOWER position and would be correct for this narrow Harrison radiator.
