Need direction new to this.

I finally got my hands on a 67 GMC SWB I'm New to this I am not afraid to to work myself just need some advice from you experts on here the truck has power steering/brakes. 6 lug drums all around and is stock height I'm wanting to do disc up front and switch to 5 lug for wheel options also do a 2.5, 3in drop there are so many options out there just would like some insight on what products or company's to go with. i recommend cpp for the suspension. i used their drop spindles in the front. you can also take the disc brakes from a 70s to early 80s just make sure its calipers and rotors are compatible with the spindles shaft. as for the 5 lug rear v conversion i believe you could also take the rear axle shafts from a later model c10 if the axles are similar. i could be wrong, my truck already had the conversion. if youve got the cash you can just get everything new from cpp or early classics. very nice truck by the way

also when you do discs up front you need a proportion valve for disc/drum setup
