Talking My other Toy

Most of you who know me and have been on this board for awhile know I work on golf carts as another hobby. Well I just got my gas Ezgo running agin after the last off road adventure we went on last spring. I got the cart stuck and sucked up some muddy water into the motor.

Started out with a Briggs & Straton 20HP V-Twin Bandolero motor. It was in the cart when I traded for it. I had Al Hodge of http://www.performancevtwins.com/
build it this past summer with billet rods, pistons, 2 barrell carb, crank and cam with a torque key installed on the crank for more torque. New bearings seals the whole deal. He cleaned up the motor and did some mild machine work to it also. For those of you who don't know Al he is the V-Twin GooRoo on these things and his shop builds most all of the legend car motors they run in the series in Charlotte NC.
I installed a new mini starter on it and mixed up some 110 race fuel with 89 unleaded gas to run in it. It has a header with wrap into a 3" spark arrester muffler.
Here is a video I did last night. 5 grand on the jackstands is all I would let it do, didn't want to chance blowing it up the first time I ran it!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yea I plan on it. We have 20 carts lined up so far for May 14,15,16 at Carolina Adventure world in Winnsboro SC.
We have WS,SC,NC,NJ.NY,Va,WVa, and a few other states represented this year. Should be fun!

Whats the fun in that? If I was going to buy one of the side by sides it would be a Razor by Polaris! I'm not into those thoe they are cool and all but there is no room to build on them.

I have less than $3000.00 total in this cart and it runs 45 MPH which by the way is way faster than you need on trails where we ride.
