Hello, I have a 61 c10 and I'm looking to do a complete stereo system on it but this is not my area of expertise, can someone give me a list of all the things I need to complete the system. I have nothing now so I'm starting from the bottom, but I do have a new wiring harness so I can wire this.

head unit- Retro Sound
multi channel amp 5 preferred with built in crossover- JL audio
decent cables- RCA interconnect-speaker-turn-on lead- buy an amp kit
4in coaxial speakers for the dash- depends on the rest of the truck for size
i have 1 ten inch sub
Fat Mat - inside doors ,under dash,cab corners,anyplace you cant see it.

if you do it right it will sound amazing and you wont see a thing.

Thats a nice setup you have there Jim!

Im just about done with mine. But its not that fancy!

Never thought about a solenoid for the power cable to the amps. Hmm I may add one to my setup. Interesting.

Here is mine.

2 Memphis gold 10 shallow subs.

2 mid ranges in the dash Memphis golds!

Cab corner mounts that I modified and installed 3 ways in.

Head unit.

I did the hush mat in mine with bubble wrap on top then the carpet. The mat is inside the doors also.
Amps are inside the console and everything is nice and neat inside the truck.

thank you. was not cheap after i install the new Focal tweeters and the 2 monoblock class A Monolithic amps to power them I will have $5,000 invested. I used to compete back in the 90`s and now im getting back into it.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
