Re: CL not mine

Certainly looks like very nice work. With a few minor discrepancys.
The rosettes would be concern at that price though.
I would still drive it

Re: CL not mine

The transmission is the wrong color, should be the color of red oxide primer... that definitely dings the value...
But seriously that is a beauty. Hopefully mine looks as good one day... I am going for a similar base model look.

Is it just me or are prices on anything with 4 wheels going crazy over the last 12 months?

You can thank "cash for clunkers" High salvage steel prices and the throw away new cars of today . I keep telling guys to buy any old trucks or muscle cars they can find and your return for storing them will be WAY more than any savings account interest .

Re: CL not mine

Museum quality? $30k? Nicest '67 GMC on the planet? Which planet? Looks like a home garage fix'em up job not a restoration...ther than the body work. It's a base model low option incorrect truck with a whole lot of fresh paint. Pretty much what I was doing in high school. Where's the clutch boot? What else is missing? I'm looking at an old u-joint. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but that's a school of thought that fits a $5,000 truck. This truck is maybe, I say MAYBE, worth 1/2 the asking price at best. Yes, that's with all things considered in the overall market right now to-day! I'm getting sick of where these trucks are going and after 40+ years am considering some other vehicle type of vehicle.
