Re: Need some help please!!!

2 options

1 get another head

2 Find a certified welding shop to weld it back together and redrill the pin without pulling the cracked head off .did you go to a high lift cam and try to use the factory valve set up ?

Re: Need some help please!!!

I ran through a time where everything I had turned to crap even both of my lawnmowers were broken. I think the thing to do is to pull the head and carry to a machine shop and they can grind down the perch and install screw in studs. But look around you might find a good set of heads for less money. like I had a fresh motor and pulled the heads to do a vortec swap. You might run across a deal like that, those heads are like new they are fresh and wrapped up in a bag so they are probably good for somebody or something. Like changing out older heads to those to have bolt holes for the front stuff.

Hmm that string of bad luck must have hit me this past 2 months snow blowers out Daily needed an engine etc etc aside from my petty problems I agree with Hugger on try to find another set or take it out and bring to a reputable machine shop for screw in studs whichever is cheaper/quickest
