Mike (hotrodmtodd) has got to be one of the best folks I've ever met on one of these forums, or anywhere for that matter. He posted a thread in the parts section that he was giving away parts, as his interest had turned to other years of trucks. I needed a red dashpad for my old '77, and he replied that he had one, almost mint! I normally keep a little cash around, but at this particular moment, I was fresh out of pocket change, having bought the truck recently, and a bunch of other stuff for my other project. After working some details, Mike sent the dashpad with no money upfront from me, to the tune of just over $50 shipping alone! Mike's going to get his money, and then some when funds catch back up, but that's about the nicest Father's Day gift I've gotten. Just don't tell the wife!

Thanks, Mike.

I agree, Mike is the man! He also offered me the same deal for some door speakers and enclosures. He sent them before I had a chance to send him his money! I couldn't just pay for shipping, so I sent him some extra $$ anyhow.

Thanks Mike for the GREAT deal!

Just Paying It Forward

I was not expecting this AT ALL! I feel like I just walked into a surprise birthday party or something. What a shocker! I want you guys to know how much I appreciate the kind words. It makes living a George Baily kind of life all worth it. I watched another movie tonight called "Pay It Forward". It was recommended to me by my good friend Brandon (Earl Filter). It's basically about how kindness is infectious. It IS true! I TRULY enjoy making good things happen for people, WITHOUT recognition. (so cut it out you guys) I hope you ALL will do what makes me the happiest, and that's: PAY IT FORWARD. Take care, Mike

JOE: See you at the ALL FEMALE (and 2 guys) Car Cruise! Hehe!

You can never have too much good karma in the bank...you never know when you may need to make a withdrawal!

Mike's dashpad, by the way, is now officially the nicest looking part of the entire truck.

(The sun was bright making the color look off, but here it is)
