Temp sending unit 69 Chevy

I have recently removed aftermarket gauges from my truck and replaced the circuit board on the back of my original stock gauge cluster on the dash.

I notice that the original gauge plug has the temp gauge wire in the cluster. That plugs into the back of the dash panel of gauges.

On the top of my manifold (divers side front) the sending unit has a wire that went to the aftermarket cluster.

At this time I am not sure where this wire needs to be routed to in order for the stock gauge to work. Any ideas?
