Ok guys I have a 14093638 engine which came off a 1995 G30 Van.

The engine came with a oil filter sandwich adapter plate for an external oil cooler which as you will see has the two threaded ports for the oil lines.



This adapter was held in place by 2 long bolts and an o-ring.

Does anyone have the GM part number for the regular style oil filter plate without the ports?

Without this adapter plate their is no way to screw on an PH5 Oil filter to the block.

I have one of those also that I took off my 4x4.

I had a oil filter adapter I took off another block I had. '68 -2000

You can get one anywhere or off another block or junk yard

Thank you GSP7 for your help, based on your response I should have no problem finding one on Ebay.

Nearest junk yard is about 30 miles away and don't trust leaving my truck parked out there all alone.

I am gonna try to find one on Ebay.
