Hi everyone! I am new to the site and it looks like if i have a question about anything, this is where I will find it. I bought a 1967 C10 stepside longbox a few years ago with hopes of restoring it with my son, who was 14 at the time. Health issues prevented that from happening then, but now he is 16 and we have to do it together. They grow up way to fast! My question for you all is whether or not a longbox stepside is desireable? We both want to shorten the frame and get a fleetside shortbox to put on it. The wood floor of the stepside is gone of course, but the box and gate are solid as a rock. What is some of your opinions on this? Any info would be great. Looking forward to chatting with everyone! I am not very computer savvy, so if i am not posting correctly, please let me know.
