1970 c10 power brake conversion help.

Going to power drum / drum brakes on my 70 c10 and need a little help. On my booster / m/c setup theres 2 support braces, 1 round and 1 mostly flat steel suport braces. Where do they attach to on m/c and firewall. Pic,s. Would be great......
Thanks

Re: 1970 c10 power brake conversion help.

They weren't used on all years. For some reason I think only 71 and 72 from factory. I may be wrong though but I know 67 68 did not use them. I don't have any pictures but I'm sure someone will post some.

Re: 1970 c10 power brake conversion help.

Use the round bar-stock brace. The other one was used for disc brakes on the 71-72 trucks. There is a dimple on your firewall for the mount bolt, if you want to drill and mount it, but it's not really needed.
