What do you collect?
I collect Harmony Kingdom figures, hot wheels, Johnny Lightnings and want to bring back the car dash magnets that I used to play with as a kid. You were able to get them in the candy machines along with the fuzzy feet and pom pom critters with bouncy eyes and antanas. So I will be trying to get my hands on a crap load of those and see if I can't get them out there once again. At this point I can't even find any.
The Harmony Kingdom are pretty cool. They are little boxes that have things on them with hidden meanings and something neat on the inside. http://www.harmonykingdom.com/ The Hotwheels and Johnny Lightning was something my mom got me started when she bought me a set and my dad did. ( he had from 4 t0 5 thousand die cast collectables that were sold at an auction after he died on his birthday by his wife...not my mom )

I have not collected much here latley all the $$$ is going to the truck now. But I will start up after the truck is done.

I am with Dave I spend just about all my spending money on guns and tools. Need to spend more on the truck
But I need more tools to put more parts on the truck, then I need more guns to relieve the stress from working on the truck. Its a never ending circle with not enough income to supply the need(s).

Hunting and fishing art and related items, Zane Grey books, old western items, and a cabinet full of various die-cast models.

If you were to drive by my house, you'd swear I collect short wheelbase fleetside trucks, irreguardless of condition....
Ok, I'm actually collecting parts (cheap or free) for a pro-touring, late model malibu. I've got all kinds of stuff in my attic: dash, ready to install fenders/header panel, boxed control arms, misc 4spd parts (clutch pedal assm), tilt column, 3.42 posi grand national 8.5" rear end w/trans am 11" disc brakes & sway bar (ok, those are on the garage floor), dual snorkel 5.0HO camaro air cleaner, + misc interior parts & lots of 67-68 chevy truck dog dish hubcaps that are all beat to hell.

Somethings I used to collect but have since lost interest were comic books, comic book action figures, and knives.
Just recently a friend got me into collecting Hot Wheels. I've got about 35 of the 42, 2003 First Editions. My buddy had the complete set of 2002 First editions up in his closet until his two younger nephews got ahold of them, opened them all, and thus making them worthless!!! He was pissed!

I collect Hotwheels and matchbox cars and a few Franklin Mint. I focus more on the vintage ones that I had as a kid but I have about 200 first editions.

hockey and baseball cards, my dad gave me his from when he was a kid up to the point wwhen i was about 10, ive lost interest because a pack of decent cards is about 5 bucks, but i do have a few good rookie cards like gretzky, dryden, la plante, lemieux, etc and for baseball i have tons fromabout mid 70's- to about mid 90's but my favorites are the old ones like hand arron, mickey mantle etc, my mom says i should sell them and get the cash but i want to keep them for as long as i live...

Football, baseball, basketball, and hockey cards. Haven't bought many lately. Mostly because of the price as well. However you can still find a lot of good ones at garage sales and stuff. I need to hit more of those... I'll keep em until I retire (loooooooong time), then they'll be worth $$$.

I had to stop collecting, it was out of control. I had to have an extra bedroom just to store all of my toys. I finally threw in the towel and spent three months selling my entire collection.
It consisted of 60's 70' TV, music and movie toys, everything from 6 million dollar man, green hornet to kiss, hundreds of toys. I also had over 300 50's 60's and 70's lunch boxes, model lits, slot cars etc.. I sold the entire collection for around 15K, used some of the money to buy my truck. I still buy/sell collectibles, for myself and for private parties. |

The picture is not mine. Actually mine is in a little better shape then the picture. Also missing the helmet that came with it however. It looks as though they are making reproductions of them. I am going to buy one of those for the helmet. Mine was given to me by my grandmother a few years back. It belonged to her son who died of leukemia when he was 11. Back then having leukemia was not common or so I was told. she has stuff given to him from President Trueman, Roy Rogers and others. Letters from others as well. I have always kept it put up and treasured it.

Social security (just kidding) and.....
Antique golf clubs. Old hickory shaft putters are my favorite, but any in good shape and not too expensive.
