Custom/Fabricated interior
Post your pics of interiors . I am starting on complete restoration of the inside of my 65 Burb and would like to see some ideas of what you guys have done. Looking to do something with door panels and inside panels below the windows on the inside. Thanks in advance...

Re: Custom/Fabricated interior
that is the long rear seat, I don't have the 3/4 seat to make 3 rows. The front seat will match design on the rear. installing new carpet and headliner next.

Re: Custom/Fabricated interior
Up until about 4 years ago, I had my 65 fully carpeted: lower gate, wheelwells, door bottoms and kick panels, and of course floor front to back I had to cut the holes for the seat mounting plates but it looked good. I only have the back piece left. The front carpet got wet from a reclusive leak so had to throw it away. These are the only pics I have of the back carpet.

Re: Custom/Fabricated interior
What are you using as a headliner? I am trying to come up with something to fill in between the support ribs along the inside roof structure. Trying to go for that smooth look. I would like to keep that same curve. Any advice would help.

Re: Custom/Fabricated interior
Upholstery guy used a fiber board of some type and used 1/2 in. Foam over it and then covered it with material. Secured in in place with glue and Velcro.

Re: Custom/Fabricated interior
Hey Harley Truck,
I am curious about your rear heater unit. I have a 10 1/2 foot panel, and live on the wet coast, some additional heating/drying solutions would be awesome. Do you have a specific maker/ model number for your unit that you used. Info would be appreciated Cheers, Anthony |
