New look for my Truck

So wanted my tuck to look like the white and red ones in the pictures. I think mission was accomplished as you can see with before and after pictures. Just a 2 1/2 dropped spindle up front with original coil springs and 3 inch drop coil in rear with shock relocators and adjustable panhard bar. Not a lot of curves on my local roads but handles off ramp exits and approaches at pretty good speeds with no sense of the truck breaking loose.

Re: New look for my Truck

Looks like a match to me, nice. I installed 2.5 drop with factory front coils as well, wasn't that a good time? My 225 lb son sat on the BBC, no body or wheels. Jacked up the lower arm and found the RH rear frame well off the jack stand. Seems I lifted the frame's front some for more better. Made me want 1" drop springs though but I like how it turned out. My SWB has 4" drop leaf springs as well. The combo levels the truck front to back.

Thumbs up Re: New look for my Truck

Nice stance, makes the truck look more solidly planted.

Re: New look for my Truck

I like it! I drove my truck around for many years with the same look and loved it. I thought the improvement in handling was noticeably better also after I did a mild drop. Now I'm curious how much stiffer my ride will be now that I've cut it down to a short bed.

Re: New look for my Truck

Me like also Already Gone.
My 72’ is lowered slightly also with 235/R70’s.
I am thinking of a taller set of tires to fill the wheel wells a tad.
How much more? Unsure.
It presently drives very smooth, so maybe don’t mess with it?

What treads are you running please?

Thanks,
Sam

I am running 255/60 17's on all 4 corners. Rims are 17 x 8 TT2's. I went with that size cause it very close, like .18 inch, higher than the 255/70 15's I like on the trucks. I am using a 15 x 8 rally rim with a 255/70 15 tire for spare as have a Tru Trac in the truck and if I have to use the spare its gotta be same height as the othe tire.
