Help with frame dimension.

Hi I'm replacing the frame brackets on my 67 swb c10 where the rear cab mounts bolt though on the frame. The old holes were wallowed out nothing really left so its hard to reference them. Does any know or can take the diameter of the hole as well as the distance from the center of the hole to the front and or rear edge? Thanks.

Re: Help with frame dimension.

You could measure the distance between the front and rear mounting holes in the cab, along with the distance between the two rear mounting holes in the cab, and transfer those measurements to the frame.

To determine the hole size, you could measure the diameter of the portion of the rear cab mount bushing that sticks through the hole.

Re: Help with frame dimension.

I will post a pic tomorrow of my frame, same location and show the measurements of the hole in relation to the edges of the support.

Re: Help with frame dimension.

Here are the photos I promised. Markings are in 1/8 in increments. Looks like the hole is 1 1/2 inches.

Thanks for the quick reply! Definitely saves me some guessing.
