front X-member value ???

I am about to remove the final pieces from a frame and front crossmember, then clean it up and sell it. I'm not a welder, so chopping it up for a crossmember drop will not be taking place in my garage. I think I saw one of these on ebay a few months ago, but did not pay attention to the price.

What is fair? Thanks. JT

Question worthless?

TTT

Is a front corssmember worth nothing? Just asking one more time before it goes to the salvage yard or ebay... Don't want to waste time cleaning it up if it is just going to the garbage.

Thanks

I chopped it out at the frame, and part of the frame is still bolted to it. It is from a 1970, six lug, drum, LWB, Custom 1/2 ton. It is in great shape, not dinged up or damaged. Don't have any pictures handy, not much left attached.

olden days, if/when you are passing through Sacramento, you are welcome to come by and check it out anytime.

I'm with Txfirefighter,

If it is a 67-70, I could only get what scrap metal is worth out of it, or i usually give it away. A 71-72 will bring 25-100 depending if someone needs it bad enough.

No, is that what you need? Sorry the rails are gone. There is just about as much frame remaining, as the crossmember is wide...1-1.5' worth. I just chopped it out .
