Low budget Garage build "Ted"
I've been reading this forum for a while now. I've been working on my pick up even longer. I think I might have figured out the hardest part of the build.....posting pictures haha. I hope this works!!
The last time I drove this little guy was '99. It was parked in the barn sense then. I am a total restore rookie with "some" mechanical sence. It has been a lot of fun to see it come together. My little girl for some reason named him "Ted". I have know idea where she came up with that. Anyway, hope this turns out ok. Last edited by stevenfromtexas; 07-16-2017 at 11:53 PM. Reason: rotated picture |

Re: Low budget Garage build "Ted"
i always wanted to stay as original as possible. i did however put discs on the front. that is my angel helping with the new spindles.
the order of pics are a little off.....sorry like i said...total rookie at the restore as well as the computer POR15 the inside of the cab floor and firewall as well as underneath the cab. |

Re: Low budget Garage build "Ted"
Looks like a great project, but in the title it says low budget and it is down to the frame
![]() ![]() As for the pics, when you take cell phone pics turn your phone to the left where the volume button points towards the ground, perfect every time. ![]()

Re: Low budget Garage build "Ted"
Huge improvement! Good work! Regarding your sig: My 17 yr old would do just about anything, legal or not, to have his uncle's 06 3/4 ton CC Duramax.

Re: Low budget Garage build "Ted"
2 questions!!
can this be fixed??? AND would any of you guys attempt to patch it yourself if it were yours?? i dropped my gas tank off to be cleaned. when i picked it up this week the guy told me it was shot and i need a new one. i got to a stopping point today with my wiring and wanted to fill it up with water to see how bad it was. found this one hole.
