Decals for 1972 Factory Aux. Fuel Tanks Have Arrived

Had a batch of high quality dash decals made for the 1972 factory auxiliary gas tank. Big thanks to FirstOwner69 (Jim) who was gracious enough to send me an intact example to work with. My cost was like tow hook pricey so at this time asking $10 shipped per decal regardless of quantity.

Images show a repro decal above an OEM decal. I've attached a reference pic for placement. SEE PICS BELOW

Thanks! Pete

Re: Decals for 1972 Factory Aux. Fuel Tanks Have Arrived

PICS ADDED SEE BELOW

Well I want to upload pics as these look great but just today I'm getting the following error that I've never had before on this site and am treating the images exactly as I have in the past. Also, only one image slot is shown for upload unlike the five I'm used to seeing. Tech problem w the site?

"aux decal 1.jpg:
The Dimension limits for this filetype are 642 x 0. We were unable to resize your file so you will need to do so manually and upload it again. Your file is currently 828 x 640."

I'll take two here. PM your mailing details for a postal money order and I'll send it right along.

I was wondering what was up with posting pictures. It's been hit or miss for me and, when I could, once you post one you are able to post another and up to five total.

Pete, You could upload to flickr or photobucket or something and then do the IMG link so they show up here. Thinking I'm going to have to do that as well for my threads!

This just links back to this page, at least thats what I found.

This is where mine was located before I started restoring. Seems to have been placed just above the switch. Not sure if dealers ever installed 'Travel Tanks' or not, but obviously different from yours.

Good info! I didn't realize the Travel Tanks had sending units. Here's a link that shows factory placement for reference (hope this one works): http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=567152
