lets see them! big blocks!! and blowers if you got them!!

Im going to buy a big block soon and am debating between a blown big block or a naturally aspirated big block. both are around the same HP and torque. So everyone with a big block please post engine pics, and if its blown please post pics and what blower it is..... main concern is fitting the blower under the hood if i go that route.

Thanks alot every!

Here's a pic of my (dirty) engine compartment... Holley dp Carb'ed 468 w/fairly tall 5" k&n air cleaner, still plenty of hood to air cleaner clearance left. Cb

Re: lets see them! big blocks!! and blowers if you got them!!

I saw this truck at a cruise a few years ago. Not mine but it sure was nice. I don't have any digital under hood shots of my GMC w/402. Looks like a few of the others. Semi stock and quite a bit dirty.

Re: lets see them! big blocks!! and blowers if you got them!!

Hey....the Blue blazer is a small block...cheater!

Question.....how does a naturally aspirated big block compare to a supercharged big block. I contend that a blown big block spanks a non-blown rat.......unless its a pretty radical normally aspirated BB against a mild underdriven supercharged rat.

Re: lets see them! big blocks!! and blowers if you got them!!

thanks everyone for the pics!

Sactojim: it is a semi radical naturally aspirated big block to a mild blown big block, the blown has more potential for more HP down the road then the naturally aspirated one

after seeing these pictures i cant wait to have a big block of my own! lol

Thanks
