Loose ground wire by junction block
Have a loose ground wire mounted on the brake booster near the junction block. Not sure of it goes to the block? Anyone recognize it?
77 K10 350sb non ac Only electrical issue I've noticed is a huge alternator draw at idle with the blower motor in high speed position. Appreciate your help if you recognize it.

Re: Loose ground wire by junction block
No do not attach that loose wire to the junction block. The block should have 12 volts on it. If you connect the wire it will be a straight short to ground.
Take a volt meter are a test light and check the block with the key off then on then while running to see how it's hooked up. As far as the wire hanging it could have been for something some one added. Not sure on a 77 model though.
