Dropmembered Gen III SWB Fleet build

Here is the plan.

Front and Rear Porterbuilt dropmember's
Gen III motor and trans, most likely 5.3/4L60
Stainless headers and 3" exhaust
Vintage A/C & Heat
Stockish interior with aftermarket gauges
Steel floor Short Fleet bed
Fuel Cell Guy EFI Tank
Steel wheels with poverty caps
4 Wheel disc brakes
(2) 3 gallon aluminum tanks, Accuair manifold, 480 dual pack compressors
One piece windows

As far as the pictures. Here's a couple of where I'm at right now. I'll update when the parts start showing up and I make some progress. The front dropmember, air ride stuff and FCG tank have been ordered.

Re: Dropmembered Gen III SWB Fleet build

Well I got the suspension taken apart. Now I'm just waiting on the front dropmember to show up. Also need to scrape togeather the money for the rear kit.

Received the caps. Still not sure if I'll end up running these or going with 20's or 20/22's.

Re: Dropmembered Gen III SWB Fleet build

Glad to see you're back at it...It will be sweet when done. I would have loved some of those parts but you're gonna have an awesome looking and handling truck when it's all said and done.

Re: Dropmembered Gen III SWB Fleet build

Just got off the phone with Nate. My control arms, center crossmember and the other misc items will ship out friday. I should have some picts of the rear suspension tonight. With any luck I will have a rolling chassis some time in May.
