Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
Hey Monroe, welcome to the website. This is a really cool thing you are doing. I'm looking forward to a visit from you. Luckily, I'm just fine with guests just dropping in without giving an exact date, even if it's a tattooed chicken. This ain't nothin' but a flop house here and we'll get you a new tattoo.

Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
Im really looking forward to this, heard a lot of stories from my pop. Although some were a little frightening haha, I hope to have an over all good experience.
There are notations on some of the address labels that let the sender know some members cant receive a visit during certain days. There are no board names on the address labels to sort of stop any lobbying for visiting times. But I know a lot of us know each other by our IRL names anyway so we will just have to wait and see how it works out. |

Re: Son of Trucks are for Chickens ... Its on!
Trying to work the logistics for someone having Monroe on a certain time is really hard, we went through that before and it caused some hic ups. So I figured random would be best =)

Oh boy, I love surprises. Can't wait till I find out I am next. Better have some cracked corn on hand to be prepared.

Well, guess who arrived at the ranch this morning! Monroe, wearing his finest Chick Magnet attire….. Right off the bat Rosie the cat thought he was dinner. I had to explain to her that he was a guest and I expected her to treat him as such. He saw the Panel Truck sitting in the yard and wanted to go cruising so we made a quick trip to town. He wanted to drive but I explained to him that he needed a drivers license to do that so he moved over to the passengers side. Stay tuned to see what we have going on tomorrow.

Man, you like to make it tough on a guy. (LOL) I will have to see what I can do. The only two I have had out so far this Spring are the '67 Panel and the '39 Coupe. I will have to do it tomorrow, we are supposed to have some storms on Wednesday. LockDoc

Monroe informed me yesterday afternoon that it was his 1st birthday. The wife and I put together a little party for him last night and invited a few of his new friends over to help him celebrate. He got a few pez containers, a balloon, and a Pink cadillac with a surfboard on top, but his favorite gift was the Red Green cup. The party must have worn him out because he is sleeping in this morning…… LockDoc

OK, Mark wanted to see Monroe with the car collection. Monroe and I spent all morning getting them out and washing them. I had to get the high stuff for him. He's hard to see standing on the hoods. LockDoc
