i will be using a Eaton Fuller 6610 tranny. just be forewarned it is a HEAVY engine. 1500 lbs dry. and it barley fits in the bay of my 72. if you have a 4x4 you will have to mod the oil pan. my model uses 8 gallons of oil.

Do you have room behind the dash to cut the fire wall and move it back? It looks good sitting there. At least your truck is 2wd so you don't have any real clearance to worry about besides the ground.
