Re: What's My Engine?
That might be a serial number, I'd look on the back where the tranny bolts up and find a casting number.

Re: What's My Engine?
It's going to be a while before I get any numbers off the back of the engine. I just got the truck. The transmission shifts 3 times, but that's all I know for sure right now.
Here's a crummy picture... |

Re: What's My Engine?
I found it to be a 94 350 but the lack of centre bolt valve covers threw me off.
Must have older heads on it. |

Re: What's My Engine?
So no tellin what vehicle this came out of. I was told that the ram's horn headers are the old thick metal type...for what ever that's worth. Frankinengine for sure.
It misses and has an exhaust leak. But believe it or not it doesn't leak engine oil, doesn't smoke, no clatter and starts right up! ...Oh, and it is hacked into the frame. Chopped out a crossmember and *relocated* it.... Thanks Guys..... |

Re: What's My Engine?
They probably used the older heads so they can use the older type intake manifolds.
