Do you just use a red bulb to get the right color? Are they street legal?

Hey Bernie, lookin good buddy. Did you fork out the cash for LED lights as well? I heard they were a bit on the pricey side, but they last a long time.
Just curious, did you get my e-mail about that fender?

That is the first time, ever, I've seen clears on a vehicle and thought they looked nice. I think part of it is the color, too; I've seen other '67-'72s with clears and didn't like it. That's a sweet monochrome look, though.

I picked up 2 sets of red bulbs from The Super Nationals in Alburquerque last February. They were only a couple dollars per set. I think the vendor was called "Mild to Wild". I'm not sure if there are legal here in Saskatchewan but I guesse I'll find out on of these nights.

Dubie, I never recieved the e-mail regarding the fender, can you resend it ? thanks

Dandeluxe, the lid is made by Gaylords and I picked it up from 'Streetheat' in Calgary, Alberta for approx. $900.canadian.

blue68man, the colour of the pickup is 'Pearl Diamond White', I used the colour code from a 95 gm caddilac. The paint shows up better in the sunlight when the pearl flecks in the paint will reflect the sunlight.

I have a 72 Cheyenne 10 with a V8 350 and a TH-350 auto-tranny.
Ochre/White/Ochre
Runs well... working on body.
Plan to get painted weekend before memorial day weekend.
Planned to be done March 7 when I turned 16. Didn't happen. Chose to do better job and be behind schedule instead of 1/2 doing it and it looking like junk.

blue68man, I have a couple friends that are painters and the first time we painted the pickup was approx. 5 years ago. Last year we painted the cowl hood, gaylords lid, rear roll pan and tailgate. Actually had to paint it twice the secound time around because the first time we used a light coloured primer and the 2nd time we used a dark primer. I'm going to install a underbed gas tank, tub it 4-6"s and put the filler behind the side marker lights. so we get a chance to make the box a little nicer.

got a little side tracked there, to answer your question. No I didn't paint it but I did help in the prep ect.
