check engine light
new member here, great messageboard (been looking for one for awhile)
i have a 00 GMC Seirra, and the check engine light is on, i have found out that its the 02 sensor and i was told it was 'both' of them, but my truck has 4 of them. someone told me the ones behind the cat convertor are the ones that make your light come one, if anyone can confirm this, it would be great. thanks. |

Re: check engine light
Any of the four will cause the light to come on. The most common is the upstream O2's. Usually the ones behind the cat will cause a cat. efficiency code. PM me the code # and I can tell you exactly what it is.
Welcome to the board from MD !!!!!
