Re: Can I please see mostly original......chevy / gmc 3/4 ton, 1ton trucks. 127" 133"

Just picked up a 60K+ original miles 70 Custom Camper/20. No pics yet but it's gotten more thumbs up and positive comments than my SWB did. The best part of the deal was I needed a 3/4 or one ton for a project spread out over two states when the truck fell into my lap. After spending the better part of a day to get it roadworthy, I towed a loaded trailer nearly 1700 miles without a problem.

I'd say keep the truck as is.....they getting more rare each year.

I just saw an Avion camper on CR. Was wondering how it would look on the back of my 68. Looks great! Got pics of the inside?

I agree! Very nice longhorn mtdave2. I love the contrast of your painted bumpers, wheels and hubcaps. An under appreciated look. These are the features that gave older pickup trucks a unique character, cars never came equipped with white painted bumpers and hubcaps!

So on the Orange one (not sure which one you call nice!) were there any problems using the newer style wheels? How is the offset?

Nice trucks by the way.

The orange one is nice, the white one is a bucket(that was once highly optioned)...

There weren't any problems mounting the newer style wheels. I think the offset is slightly positive, so the rears are a bit inset for my liking(and many others) but 1"+ wheel spacers should solve that.
