Inline help please!
I am having a 250, non intergrated head, I6 rebuilt and want to perk up the HP a little. Mostly looking for flat top pistons and possibly a small cam. The final plan is headers and a two barrell carb. I will also keep the three on the tree so this will be no real hot rod. Does anybody have part numbers for Pistons, Camshaft, Two Barrell Intake and headers? Also just as important is where to buy them.

Re: Inline help please!
I never got around to putting headers or 4bbl intake on. i ran stock ex and intake manifolds with a 2bbl adapter... single turbo muffler. Iam going back to a one bbl carb that I jetted up and keeping my stock exhaust manifold. going to try and regain the stock appearance

Re: Inline help please!
All good and correct info above.
For the first mild stage I agree with 307 pistons, HEI or Pertronix ignition, and a mild cam. another cam manufacturer to research in Schnieder Cams. I like their dual phase grinds. the next stage would be bigger valves, install lumps in the intake ports, a small 4 bbl on an Offy intake, and headers or Langdons cast iron split exhaust. Get a copy of Santucci's book

Re: Inline help please!
There's all sorts of stuff you can do. HEI distributor helps out, I went with Pertronix for the stock look as well. 194 head is closed chamber so that ups the compression as well.
I put the Clifford 4 barrel with a 360 Holley Carb. Clifford 3 into 1 headers into a Dynoflow X muffler, don't like the sound of it, I'm going to add two resonators. I machined 1/4" off the back of a Nascar Harmonic small block balancer. You can hear the sound of the six on the YouTube link.
