99-06 bumper fitment
so safeco finally came through and cut me a check for the damages to my tahoe. so now i am in the process of finding a "new" bumper for it. so my question is, will a bumper from a silverado/sierra fit my tahoe? i know somethings don't interchange and was wondering if this is one of them

Re: 99-06 bumper fitment
99-02 nbs silverado bumpers are the same as the 00-06 nbs tahoe/suburban. If you wanted to put on the seirra bumper you would have to change the entire front clip and the headlights/turn signals/grille/and core support are different. Same with the 04-06 Silverado, you have to change the entire clip.

Re: 99-06 bumper fitment
actually what i need is the rear bumper, and i am having a hard time finding a yukon/tahoe/suburban bumper. so i was wondering if the rear silverado/sierra bumpers fit the tahoe/yukon/suburban body

Re: 99-06 bumper fitment
Ahh...well the bumper in it self is the same. However, the side brackets and especially the top pad are not. The top pad serves as a filler on the sides under the liftgate/rear doors makin it larger in those areas. The main brackets I have not compared so I am not sure if they are the same or not.
