65 Long Bed Chevy Build

I've been contemplating this thread for a while but didn't want to get started and not finish. Decided to commit (to the thread, not the build). Here goes:

As she stood when i bought her.

Thanks Hoppedup! Paint is going to be Satin Red with a black roof. Looking for some stock 6-lugs and baby moons as well if anyone has a line on some.

I'm in the process of spraying mine on poly primer too. Same color as yours. Eventually mine will be satin white with gold flake roof

I want to say its called Dorado Red, but don't quote me. I will find out exactly what it is and where it was bought and let you know. I'm not totally convinced its satin at this point, but we will see.

Welcome to the forum

I agree, that red does look good.

Re: 65 Long Bed Chevy Build

After lagging for the last few months I've finished up some wiring, weather seals, Alarm, Radio etc. Yesterday we finished installing the CPP lowering kit. The rear shocks were too short so I put the originals (whatever was on it) back on for the time being. Looks Great and rides pretty good too.
