Engine decoding help...
So i bought this rebuilt short block I was told it was one thing i come up with something else but I am still up in the air as to what it is.so I figured i would post the block numbers and see what others think and see if we agree...front pad v0111he....back of block 3914678 looking for original hp rating and type of vehicle..also have this number 18j192552 partial vin I beleive...any help...jeremy

What I found is that casting number is a '68-'79 4" bore block. The suffix code of HE shows as either a '65 300 hp 327 or a '69 300 hp 350.

Well I was told 30 over 327..itdoes have new 30 over forged pistons from trw...but then there is the heads...3782461... Dated d164...so I was thinking 65 vette..funny thing is I was told 68 camaro 327 when I bought it..jeremy
