Help With Door Weatherstrip

I need some high quality door weatherstripping and search after search suggests GMCPauls push-on weatherstripping. I'd like to go that route, however GMCPauls does not ship to Canada and he has not returned my e-mails. I was wondering if anyone would like to make an order for me and have it shipped up to Canada and I'll cover all costs. Thanks in advance.

Re: Help With Door Weatherstrip

can't help with the shipping, but you made the right choice on the weather strip, just put it on mine and it is the best i ever saw for our trucks, and i got it from gmc paul also......i think the shipping doing it that way would cost a lot....hope you can work it out....

I contacted Precision and the stuff listed on their website is the glue on type. So maybe Precision makes the push on stuff for other vendors but doesn't sell it direct.

I've been hearing that it is a good product. Things are just harder to come by up here in Canada.

I hear ya. I lived in Ontario for awhile and I had to have a post office box in New York for parts. I would be willing to ship the weatherstrips to you if you had them shipped to my house. I'll even send it as a birthday present to help with duty. Send me a message if you want me to help.

That would be great, however GMC Paul wont accept out of country credit cards so I can't even place an order with him, thats why I need someone to buy it, then ship it to me.

GMC Paul stays really busy.He may just not have had time to answer. At least every time I have contacted him he got back to me but sometimes took a couple of days.

There was another thread about this the other day. I believe it said these weatherstrip were also available from Wes at ClassicHeartbeat. You might check there.

I'm not sure about the dodge Dakota stuff but from what I've been reading on here gmcpauls has push on type that doesn't need adhesive and is very good quality.

The only thing I didn't like about this weatherseal is that it is not mitre cut at the front pillar, no big deal, just doesn't look like original.
