Bought a 94 extended cab and the passenger side glass and hinges are gone. How do you repair this? Thanks in advance

MY guess would be find one in a junk yard and take it off and putt on yours. I have never had to look at one for replacement, so I am not sure other than taking one apart to see how it comes off.

Re: replacing the side half glass assm on extcab?
The frame is glued in like the windshield/back glass so it has to be cut out. The frame is plastic/fiberglass so be careful cutting it out. If your frame is still there then just grab a glass from the junkyard. The arms that hold the window are just snapped on the frame.
Make sure you use the right size phillips bit in an impact drill to unscrew the side window from the arms, The screws strip really easy and then have to be drilled out which is not fun. |
