Tilt Column Light Green Filter - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Ok - tying up loose ends on my final assembly and had an "unfortunate" incident with the small green cover (filter) for the light indicator. GM part number377994. May have been superceded by 3772254. Has anyone found a source for these? I would think that all GM products of that era that had tilt columns would have used this P/N but not getting any hits on Google. Anyone have any success finding these?

TTT - has anybody figured out an alternative solution? Maybe paint the bulb green?...

I found a packet of green filters at PepBoys, but I'm sure you can find them in any AP store that carries lighting accessories. I haven't got around to putting one on yet, so I don't know how it'll work

any chance you could post a part number - manufacturer - UPC code? Anything to help chase them down would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Andy - I have that photo and the part number for the filter. Can't find the green filter....
