K20 brake hoses
Anyone point me in the right direction to buying front brake hoses for my 68 K20? Stores keep giving me k10 ones .
Knuckle size is the problem between the two.. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: K20 brake hoses
The brake book I have shows from '68-70 K10-K20 use the same brake hose. But from your picture I can tell that isn't the stock axle that came on the front of a '68 K20, from the 4 bolt steering arm, it looks more like a dana 60 vs the dana 44 that came in the K20. You may want to start looking for K30 parts vs K20. I would for sure look into seeing what axle that is and go from there.

Re: K20 brake hoses
No its a 44. Just bigger knuckle And hubs.. the 1/2 ton line wont clear the 3/4 ton knuckle thats why the metal lines to wc. As for the 4 bolt steering arm. Both my k10/20 have them. Neither truck has had any rears changed..

Re: K20 brake hoses
Inline tube might be able to make custom lengths - if you run out of options, might call them and ask. I know they made e-brake cables for me once, but I seem to recall hoses coming up in the conversation also. It was quite a few years ago, so not certain, but they had the capability to do some custom work.

Re: K20 brake hoses
I believe all your metal lines in 68 should be 1/4, not 3/16.
