Stock door latch with Black diesel window mod
I did the Black Diesel mod for 1 piece windows on my '57. Today i went to install my stock latches and found they won't go in because they hit the window channel i moved back to make room for the new window. I put it back until it was just behind the nuts the latch bolts to. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what did you do for the fix?

Re: Stock door latch with Black diesel window mod
Wel heres what i decided to do, right or wrong the door latch fits and works now. The bottom post on the latch assembly now sticks out into the window channel maybe a 16th of an inch and the upper post is flush with the inside of the channel. Hopeing when i install the felt channel into the metal channel all will be ok. Had to make extra room in the holes so latch assembly could operate.
